Nordic Builds the Perfect Wall
What if I told you we could build you the perfect wall? Here is an update of our build showing one of the details that make these walls better than most, especially where air sealing is concerned.

Stocking Up on Foam-Board Insulation
Using the best insulation is crucial in having our designs be high-performance. So when Home Depot puts this stuff on 75% off clearance, we don't ask questions. Unless those questions are, "Can you fork that directly onto my 'truck'?" and "How many are in stock at the other stores?"
Below is a picture from a batch of maybe a third of the insulation we were able to get. We get weird reactions when we use this truck, but that's okay.

6-Day Construction Timelapse
We've captured and put together a time-lapse of the first 6 days of actual construction on our first tiny house. Things are going well, and we will be installing our version of the exterior house-wrap soon. Next comes the windows, exterior insulation, and we should be working on the plumbing and electrical on the inside to prepare for the interior insulation.

New Year Brings a New Beginning for Nordic Tiny Homes
The end of the year was a perfect time for Chris to shift gears into working on Nordic Tiny Homes full time. On the first weekday of the year, he cleared the space we have lined up for us, and we parked the trailer for our first model.
